Dr. Paul Sipos Msc

Dr. Paul Sipos MSc. works as a periodontist and implant dentist at the Center for Implantology and Periodontology Amstelveen The Netherlands. His office maintains a SPSS database with over 16.000 implant treatments. He started his career as a dentist and periodontist for the Royal Netherlands Navy Dental Services and received periodontal training at the the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland (USA) and Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). He has published and co-authored several articles on periodontal and implant related subjects. He held the position as chairman of the Dutch Society of Periodontology (NVvP) and representative for the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). His special interest lies in the field of soft and hard tissue maintenance and reconstruction.

José F. Siqueira, Jr DDS, MSc, PhD

Brazil, Rio de Janeiro

Dr Siqueira is Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry, Grande Rio University, Rio de Janeiro, and Professor and Chairman of the Dental Research Group, Iguaçu University, Nova Iguaçu, RJ, Brazil. He has authored 11 books on endodontics, microbiology, and immunology and also several chapters for leading international endodontic textbooks. Dr Siqueira is one of the most prolific authors in dentistry, having published more than 400 scientific papers. He is the recipient of the 2014 Louis I. Grossman award from the American Association of Endodontists and the 2012 Louis I. Grossman award from the French Society of Endodontics. He currently serves as a member of the editorial board of several international journals for which he is also a reviewer. Dr Siqueira actively lectures on the subject of endodontics worldwide.

Dr. med. dent. Christoph T. Sliwowski

Christoph T. Sliwowski studied Dentistry in Warsaw (graduating in 1982). He has been practicing in Germany since 1987. Since 1989, his main interest has been implantology. In 1995, he took his doctorate in this subject with Prof Hubertus Spiekermann in Aachen; since 1997, his main focus of activity has been in implantology, and since 2003 he has been an Accredited Implantology Specialist with the German Society for Dental Implantology (DGZI) and the European Association of Dental Implantologists (BDIZ EDI). From 1998 to 2008, he was Medical Superintendent at the Zahnklinik Rhein-Ruhr, a specialist clinic for implant dentistry and esthetics in Mülheim on the Ruhr. Since 2010, he has been Director of the Zahnimplantat Klinik Düsseldorf, a dental implant clinic, which he set up at the St Vinzenz Hospital in Düsseldorf.

Prof. Dr. Dr. Bernd Stadlinger

Bernd Stadlinger studied medicine and dentistry at the universities of Erlangen, Vienna, and Dresden from 1996 to 2006. He trained as a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Hospital Dresden and habilitated in 2011 with the topic “Functional biomaterials to influence maxillofacial bone healing.” In July 2011, he became senior physician in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – Clinic for Oral Surgery at the University of Zurich. After his rehabilitation at the University of Zurich, he became a specialist in oral surgery in 2013, and has been Head Physician and Head of Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology since December 2015. Bernd Stadlinger is a board member of the Swiss Society for Oral Surgery and Stomatology (SSOS) and the Swiss Association for Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Diseases (SAKM). The focus of his scientific work is the interaction between biomaterials and bone, in particular the coating of implants with different organic components to accelerate peri-implant bone healing. His other area of interest is imaging techniques and the implementation of digital treatment methods. In the field of teaching, he is the author of various computer-animated science films and is actively involved in the integration of modern media into university teaching, for which he has received numerous science and teaching awards.
