Prof. Hernández-Alfaro studied medicine and dentistry and specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Barcelona, Spain. He obtained his PhD at International University of Catalonia , and is Diplomate by the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently Chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Teknon Medical Center, the largest private facility in Spain. He is also Professor and Chairman of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain). Dr. Hernández Alfaro’s main interest is Orthognathic and Preprosthetic Surgery and has published, and lectured worldwide in these fields.
Dr. Pokpong Amornvit is a Thai dentist and dental educator who specializes in digital dentistry. Dr. Amornvit graduated with a DDS from Mahidol University, Thailand, and an MS in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the same university. He also completed a Certificate in Implant Dentistry from UCLA and received a PhD in Oral Health Science from Prince of Songkla University. His thesis was focused on digital dentistry. He is well-known for his work in the field, particularly in the areas of digital dentistry, digital implants, digital clear aligners, and digital restorative esthetics. His signature approach involves facial-driven design in a multidisciplinary treatment.
Dr. Amornvit has been actively involved in teaching and training dental professionals in the use of digital technology to enhance the quality of dental care and patient experience. He is the developer of “PPFACEDESIGN,” which uses a digital workflow with a philosophy of digital facial-driven design and digital smile design. This concept emphasizes the importance of facial profile, proportions, harmony, and esthetic oral rehabilitation, using digital smile design to create an aesthetically pleasing face. He developed PPFACEBOW, a digital facebow used in treatment.

Evanthia Anadioti, DDS, MS, FACP, is associate professor of clinical restorative dentistry in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and founding director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a board director at the American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation, and the incoming prosthodontic commissioner at the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dr Anadioti has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has received both local and national awards.
Dr Angelopoulos is a graduate of the Aristotle University, School of Dentistry, Thessaloniki, Greece. His post-doctoral training includes a 3yr internship in Oral Surgery (Aristotle University, 1997) and a 1yr GPR program (Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, 1999). In addition, he has completed a 3yr Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program at University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry (2001) and he was awarded the MS degree in Oral Biology (2002). He has completed has PhD degree in 2009. His degree was the result of a collaborative effort between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr Angelopoulos is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. He has held academic appointments at University of Missouri-Kansas City (assistant professor 2002-2007) and a t Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine (associate professor and director of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, 2007-2011). He is currently serving as maxillofacial radiology consultant at the Bronx Hospital of Veterans Affairs. Dr Angelopoulos is the Executive Director of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and has served in the Executive Council of this organization for more than 7 yrs. He is the Associate Editor of Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology (OOOO). He has published more than 30 scientific papers and has spoken in several conventions and CE courses, nationally as well as internationally, on a variety of radiology topics. His main research interests include diagnostic ultrasound, cone beam computed tomography, implant imaging etc. Dr Angelopoulos is licensed in the states of Missouri and New York. He also holds a dental license in Thessaloniki, Greece. He maintains a private practice dedicated to oral and maxillofacial image interpretation and consultation services.
Dr. Christopher Barwacz is an Associate Professor with dual appointments in the Department of Family Dentistry and the Craniofacial Clinical Research Program (CCRP) at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics. Dr. Barwacz received his DDS degree from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics. He obtained his AEGD Certificate from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M Health Science Center, and subsequently completed an Implant Fellowship at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics. Dr. Barwacz currently serves as the Implant Program Director in The Department of Family Dentistry. He is a Fellow in The Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow in The International College of Dentists, serves on the Academy of Osseointegration’s Fellowship & Certificate Steering Committee, and is a member of the International Association for Dental Research, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). Dr. Barwacz has clinical translational research funding in oral implantology, specifically related to transmucosal factors that optimize implant prosthetic and mucosal outcomes. He maintains an interdisciplinary faculty intramural practice limited to restorative and implant dentistry at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics.
Dr. Robert Bauder is an experienced dentist with over 24 years of expertise in holistic and aesthetic modern dentistry. Dr. Panaghiotis “Panos” Bazos received his DDS from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2000. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, Division of Primary Oral Health, Los Angeles, CA. from 2005-2007, mentoring undergraduate dental students in the disciplines of Dental Morphology and Restorative Dentistry under the supervision of Dr. Pascal Magne, the Don and Sybil Harrington Foundation Chair in Esthetic Dentistry, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Upon returning to Europe, he maintained a private practice limited to aesthetic and restorative dentistry in Athens, Greece. In 2011 he founded the Bio-EmulationTM Group which constitutes a global think tank that promotes clinical excellence in dental restorative techniques when combined with interdisciplinary approaches. From 2013-2016 he completed his postgraduate specialist degree (MClinDent) in Orthodontics and Dento-facial Orthopaedics at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and has qualified with the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MOrth RCS Edin). Dr. Benting has developed content for Spear Digest and for several Spear Study Club modules. He developed, and continues to present, the Restoring the Edentulous Arch workshop with fellow Resident Faculty member Dr. Darin Dichter. Dr. Benting maintains a prosthodontic referral practice in Phoenix. He is a past president of the Arizona section of the American College of Prosthodontists and currently serves on the ACP Board of Directors. He served as an adjunct faculty member in the prosthodontic clinic at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health and at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Benting earned a B.S. from University of South Dakota in 1994, D.D.S. from University of Minnesota in 1999 and certificate in prosthodontics with a Master of Science in 2002, also from Minnesota. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a fellow of the ACP.
Dr. Rafael Beolchi majored in Dentistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, in the year 2000. He has maintained a private practice since 2001, working mainly in aesthetic dentistry and oral rehabilitation. In 2009 he received his Master's degree on Biomaterials from the Institute of Energetic and Nuclear Research, from the same University.
He teaches around the world, focusing on advanced handling of dental materials with an easy step-by-step approach that simplifies the procedure and has presented several lectures and workshops addressing those topics in North, Central & South America, Europe, Africa and Asia, in more than 60 countries.
Dr. Beolchi is currently based in Portugal, where he finished his second Master’s degree, in Dental Medicine, working as a dentist and as consultant for esthetic products and materials for the Dental industry, applying his clinical and scientific knowledge in the development of new and better dental products.
He is the author of several articles in Portuguese, Spanish and English, about the topics of direct placed esthetic restorations and lightcuring, topics on which he still maintains his activity as a researcher until today. He also the author of book chapters on the same fields and collaborates on studies with several other institutions around the world.
Doctor Bonfanti-Gris is currently a Research Fellow at Complutense University of Madrid and is pursuing her International PhD in collaboration with Zütich University. Her main areas of interest are mainly based on both Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry and the implementation of New Technologies in our field. Overall, Doctor Bonfanti-Gris has dedicated part of her academic life to evaluate how Artificial Intelligence can be applied and integrated into the clinicians‘ daily work.
Dr. Boschatel graduated from the Marseille Faculty in 2010 and has since completed numerous post-graduate training programs, including one at New York University. He primarily practices in Aix-en-Provence, with an additional practice in Paris. His focus is on aesthetics and full mouth rehabilitation, especially for patients experiencing dental erosion and wear. His rehabilitations utilize the latest digital tools, ensuring precise and predictable outcomes. He is dedicated to offering minimally invasive rehabilitation that achieves highly aesthetic and biomimetic results. Half of his professional time is devoted to training colleagues in aesthetics and digital technology. Outside of his professional life, he is a father to three children and has a keen interest in nature and water sports.
Dieter Bosshardt is head of the Robert K. Schenk Laboratory of Oral Histology at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Bern, and a private lecturer at the Department of Periodontology and Prosthodontics and the Department of Oral Surgery and Stomatology, University of Bern. His main scientific interests are located in the fields of tooth development, in particular cementogenesis, periodontal tissue regeneration, and healing events associated with dental implants and other biomaterials. He is author and co-author of more than 80 original articles, review articles, case reports, and book chapters. He is a member of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Osteology Research Academy (ORA).
Dr. Lorenzo Breschi received his DDS degree cum laude and PhD in Human Morphological and Molecular Sciences at the University of Bologna (Italy). He is now Full Professor and Chairman of Restorative Dentistry at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences (DIBINEM) and Director of the Master in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, at the University of Bologna (Italy). Prof. Lorenzo Breschi served as President of the following Academies: Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC), International Academy of Adhesive Dentistry (IAAD), European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (EFCD), Dental Materials Group of the IADR (DMG-IADR) and the Academy of Dental Materials (ADM). Prof. Breschi is also an active member of the following societies: American Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AARD), Academy of Dental Materials (ADM), Accademia Italiana di Odontoiatria Conservativa e Restaurativa (AIC), Società Italiana di Odontoiatria Conservativa (SIDOC). Prof. Breschi is also Editor of Dentistry33, Associate Editor of the Journal of Adhesive Dentistry, and member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals. He is actively involved in research in restorative dentistry and he has published more than 300 original papers and review articles on peer-reviewed journals on different aspects of bonding, luting and aesthetic restorative materials.
Stephane Browet was born in 1972 in Asse, Belgium.
He finished dental school at the Free University of Brussels in 1995.
He there then followed the Post Graduate Program Aesthetic Dentistry. From 1999 on, he taught rubberdam techniques and adhesive dentistry. He combines nationally and internationally teaching in rubberdam isolation, microscope dentistry, posterior and anterior composites, indirect restorations with a private practice focused on microscope aided restorative dentistry.
From 2002 untill 2005, he was active in the Scientific Board Conservative Dentistry at the Institute for Continued Education of the Society of Flemisch dentists. He is also a past board member of the Belgian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a past board member and member of the Academy of Microscope Dentistry, a member of the European Society of Microscope Dentistry, and an active member of the Bio-Emulation Group.
Graduated with honors in Dental Medicine from the Univ. of Bologna in 1996. In 2001 earned the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontology after a 3-year program at Boston Univ. Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In 2002 passed the exams of the American Board of Periodontology becoming a Diplomate. He is an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP), an active member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) and an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). He has published several articles in the fields of periodontology and implantology in international journals and lectures extensively both nationally and internationally. Author of the chapter titled “Soft Tissue Management Around Dental Implants” in Practical Periodontal Plastic Surgery edited by Blackwell Munksgaard. He currently practices as a Periodontist in Bologna.
Dr. Chia-Yu (Jennifer) Chen received her dental degree (DDS) from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan and completed her periodontology training and Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in oral biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
At HSDM, Dr. Chen was selected as a Presidential Scholar and, at graduation, was the recipient of both the James H. Shaw Award for excellence in biomedical research and the Joseph L. Henry Award, which recognizes excellence in research and clinical training from Harvard.
Dr. Chen is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She maintains a clinical practice limited to periodontology and implantology in the Faculty Group Practice at the Harvard Dental Center.
Dr. Florin Cofar co-founded Smilecloud, a smile-design and centralized collaboration platform. He specializes in complex esthetic rehabilitation and minimally invasive procedures. He received his education from Victor Babes University in Timisoara with specialization at NYU University of Dentistry and Harvard Business School.

Among Dr. Coleman’s achievements, he was named one of Incisal Edge Magazine’s Top 40 under 40 dentists nationwide.
