“Anyone who wants to make a difference in life should start with themselves,” says Dr. Ben Baak. For more than 10 years, Dr. Baak worked as a scientific researcher at the German Sport University in Cologne, where his responsibilities also included microgravity research. The sudden passing of his father completely changed his way of life. He developed the wish for an increased and sustainable commitment to his community. Dr. Baak has coached many successful entrepreneurs and personalities such as Bodo Schäfer and Toni Schumacher. His goal is to harmonize health, well-being, and productivity on the three levels of body, mind, and soul. With inspiring lectures, the PhD sports scientist inspires his audience and supports the everyday life of many people with such systems as the 3x3=3®, which he developed with a team of experts based on the most recent scientific evidence.
Dr. Baba received his DMD degree from the University of Montreal in 1996. He completed a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics and a Masters degree in Restorative Sciences in Prosthodontics from Boston University School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Baba serves as a Professor in the Advanced Education program in Prosthodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in the Comprehensive Dentistry Department, and maintains a part-time private practice in Glendale, CA. He is currently the President of the American College of Prosthodontists and an active member of various professional organizations and a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Prosthodontics. He is also the Associate Editor for the Aesthetics/Prosthetics/Restorative section at the Journal of Dental Traumatology and a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Dr. Baba has received several honors and awards including: The David J. Baraban Award from Boston University, the Claude R. Baker Faculty award for Excellence in Teaching Predoctoral Fixed prosthodontics in 2009 from the AAFP, and the California dental Association Arthur A. Dugoni Faculty award in 2010. He is the author of numerous publications and has recently published a book entitled “Restoration of Endodontically treated teeth: evidence based diagnosis and treatment Planning” and has lectured nationally and internationally.

Nasib Balut, DDS, MS, attended dental school at Universidad Tecnologica de México in Mexico City prior to receiving his postgraduate orthodontic training and master’s in oral biology from Loyola University in Chicago. He is board certified by the Mexican Board of Orthodontists and was its president from 2009 to 2012. Dr Balut is also a reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and author of Mini Implantes como anclaje en Ortodoncia (Editorial Ripano, 2012). Since 2009, he has been a certified educator for the Damon System. Dr Balut is a member of several professional organizations and maintains a private practice in Mexico City, Mexico.

Craig Barrington, DDS, graduated summa cum laude in 1996 from the School of Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Microscopes and histology have always been an interest of his, but the first time he looked at a transparent human tooth, he knew that this would be a lifelong focus of his research. To this end, Dr Barrington has made it his mission to understand every diaphanization method that he has come across. Dr Barrington holds a patent in histology and multiple copyrights. He maintains a private practice in Waxahachie, Texas.
Qualified in dentistry from Guy’s Hospital in 1985 and as a Specialist in Oral Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England, in 2000. Dr Barter has 37 years’ experience in oral surgery with 30 years involvement in clinical and academic implant dentistry in both private hospital practice and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a private clinic. Dr Barter has previously assisted in the running of the MClinDent in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute London, for over ten years, and the DClinDent Programme at Queen Mary’s University, London for over five years. He is a Fellow of the ITI, a past Chairman of the UK and Ireland Section and has served on ITI international committees and consensus conferences. Dr Barter has published in refereed scientific journals and the dental press and has written several book chapters, is the co-author of ITI Treatment Guide 9 – Implant Therapy in the Geriatric Patient (Quintessence Publishing) and has been an editor of the ITI Treatment Guide series since TG11. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally.
Diplom Ökotrophologin Vera Bausch arbeitet als selbstständige Ernährungs- und Haushaltswissenschaftlerin in Erkelenz. Anita Beckmann is a self-employed dentist in Berlin. As a mother of two children, who also had a restrictive tongue tie, she initially began working on the topic out of her own interest. She then attended her first training course on the topic in 2018, and undertook numerous training courses in the following years with Dr. Zaghi, Dr. Kotlow, Dr. Ghaheri, and many others. She is now not only a founding member of the relevant professional association (Defagor e.V.), but has also specialized in the holistic treatment of oral restrictions in addition to the treatment of craniomandibular dysfunctions.
Edmond Bedrossian, DDS, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Alameda Medical Center. He is an expert in implant dentistry and has lectured internationally, as well as authored numerous articles, book chapters, and books. Today, he practices in San Francisco, California, and serves as Director of Implant Surgical Training for the Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Program and the dental school at University of the Pacific.
E. Armand Bedrossian, DDS, MSD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and practices in San Francisco, California. He graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and completed a 3-year masters program in prosthodontics at the University of Washington. He has authored various publications on prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and the treatment of completely edentulous patients.
