Craig M. Misch, DDS, MDS, is a clinical associate professor at the University of Florida, the University of Alabama, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Michigan in the departments of periodontics and prosthodontics. He serves as editor-in-chief of The International Journal of Oral Implantology and on the editorial boards of the Journal of Oral Implantology and the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry. Dr Misch has been a featured speaker for numerous organizations and published more than 50 articles and 20 textbook chapters. He maintains a private practice as a dual specialist in Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Ricardo Mitrani, received his DDS degree from the Unitec University of México City; a certificate in Prosthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington, where he served as the Graduate Prosthodontics program’s assistant director during the year of 2001. He currently holds academic affiliations at the University of Washington, and is a resident faculty at SPEAR Education in Scottsdale Arizona. He is a member of several organizations including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He is part of the editorial board of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry (JERD), The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (JCD) and Compendium, as well as the Executive director of Spear Digest. Dr Mitrani has authored numerous scientific publications and chapters in textbooks in the fields of Implant Prosthodontics and Aesthetic dentistry and has given over 600 lectures around the globe, maintaining a private practice limited to Prosthodontics, Implants and Aesthetic dentistry in Mexico City.
Graduated in 1992 with a degree in dentistry from the University of Bologna, Italy, where he was subsequently adjunct professor from 1997 to 2000. Visiting researcher at the Department of Cariology, directed by Prof Ivo Krejci, at the University of Geneva between the years 2000 and 2004. Obtained a master’s degree in science (2003) and a PhD in dental materials (2005) at the University of Siena with Prof M. Ferrari. Researcher at the University of Bologna since 2006. Up to 2020, taught undergraduate courses on fixed prostheses on natural teeth and implants and prosthodontics at the University of Bologna. Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP) award winner for best research in the field of prosthodontics in the years 2005, 2008, and 2009. Obtained a PhD in material science in 2013 from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Bologna. Associate professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, teaching the courses of implant prosthodontics and removable prosthodontics in the school of dentistry. Dean of the master’s degree program in prosthodontics and implant prosthetics with advanced technologies, University of Bologna. Since 2004 collaborating with Prof G. Zucchelli in the development of clinical and research protocols related to implant-supported restorations, soft tissue management, and the interrelationship between prosthodontics and periodontics in the natural dentition. Active member of the AIOP and the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO). Fellow of the International Team for Implantology since 2018.
Dr. Alberto Monje obtained the certificate and Masters in Periodontology from the University of Michigan, Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine. Since them, he is certified by the American Board of Periodontics. He was the recipient of the ITI Scholarship for 2016-2017 at the University of Bern (Switzerland). Dr. Alberto Monje is PhD in the field of alveolar bone architecture granted by the University of Granada (Spain). He holds a private practice exclusive in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry (CICOM Periodoncia). He is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Periodontics of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain), and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA). Dr. Monje is Visiting Professor at the Department of Periodontology of the University of Bern (Switzerland).
