The Australian Dental Association (ADA) is proud to host the 2025 Australian Dental Congress (ADC2025), set to be a landmark event in Perth at the convention & exhibition centre. Congress is being held between 8 – 10 May with pre/post workshops being held on the 7 & 11 May 2025.

This premier gathering for the dental profession in the Asia Pacific region is a testament to the ADA’s commitment to the art and science of dentistry, promoting the improvement of oral and general health and developing professionals at all levels of the sector.

Dr. Victor Clavijo DDS

Brazil, São Paulo

Dr Clavijo holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil (2002) and obtained the title of Specialist, Master and Doctor in Restorative Dentistry, from UNESP Araraquara (2003–2011). Despite his academic background, his focus is on clinical care. He has followed in the footsteps of his father, who has been a clinician for over 50 years in the city of Indaiatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. He has more than 60 articles published in national and international journals and has authored and co-authored books in the dental field. His work is based on clinical and scientific evidence. Currently, he divides his time between appointments at his clinic, classes, and courses in Brazil and abroad. In addition, he contributes to research in dentistry; he conducts research annually at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, as a visiting professor.

Dr. Marta Revilla-León DDS, MSD, PhD

United States of America, Boston

Dr. Marta Revilla is Faculty and Director of Research and Digital Dentistry at the Kois Center. Dr. Revilla-León obtained her PhD in Prosthodontics and Digital Dentistry at The Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde (ACTA) University in Amsterdam. She obtained her MSD in prosthodontics at the University of Washington in Seattle and a MS in Esthetic Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid. Dr. Revilla-León is specialist in digital dentistry with more than 140 publications in peer-reviewed dental journals in the last 4 years related with facial and intraoral scanning methods, virtual patient integration, digital implant scans with photogrammetry systems, polymer, metal, and ceramic additive manufacturing technologies, development of dental devices with Exocad, 3Shape dental systems, blender and artificial intelligence for dental applications. Prior to this position, Dr. Revilla-León has been the assistant program director in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Texas A&M University in Dallas. Currently, Dr. Revilla is also Affiliate Faculty in the Graduate in Prosthodontic Program at the University of Washington in Seattle and in the Graduate in Prosthodontic Program at Tufts University in Boston.

Dr. Jason Smithson

United Kingdom, Cornwall

Qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1995; achieving a number of awards including The Constance Klein Memorial, The Stafford Millar, and The Malcolm Jenkins Scholarships, The American Association of Endodontics Prize and the Overall Award for Clinical Dentistry. After spending 3 years in oral surgery residency in London and a further year practicing restorative dentistry in London’s Harley Street Medical District, he relocated to Cornwall in the extreme southwest of England. Jason practices at Revitalise, Cornwall, UK where his main focus is microscope enhanced adhesive dentistry. His specific interest is direct composite resin artistry and minimally invasive all ceramic restorations and he has presented to dentists locally, nationally and internationally (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Europe) on this topic. He has given hands on programs in the UK, Europe, Asia, and North America on behalf of GC, Ivoclar, Kerr, Kulzer, Optident, Micerium, Carl Zeiss, Zumax,  Global, Velopex and Triodent. He is a European “Key Opinion Leader” for Kulzer, DMG and Align. Jason is Resident Faculty at The Centre for Esthetic Excellence, Chicago, USA. He is an Accredited International Trainer for Carl Zeiss Dental Academy. Jason is the only European Resident Faculty at Spear Education AZ USA, where he is an instructor in The Composite Program. Jason has achieved Diplomat Status in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (England). He is on the Editorial Board of The Russian Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and the UK-based “Private Dentistry” Journal and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on adhesive and aesthetic dentistry in both the UK and abroad. He is joint author of “Vertical Margin Finish Lines In Fixed Prosthodontics” Jason is Past-President and Founder of the British Association of Private Dentistry

Prof. Dr. Hom-Lay Wang DDS, MS, PhD

United States of America, Ann Arbor

Hom-Lay Wang, DDS., MSD., Ph D, Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan.He has co-editor two textbooks, published more than 50 book chapters/invited reviews and more than 750 peer-reviewed scientific articles. Dr. Wang serves as a Co-Editor-in-Chief for Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, an Associate Editor for The IJOMI and IJOI.Dr. Wang is the recipient of many awards/honors including AAP Outstanding Educator Award (2017), AAP Distinguished Scientist Award (2017),AAP Master Clinician Award (2019), AAP Distinguished Service Award (2021), and AAP Clinical Research Award (2021).
