55th SIDO International Congress

Dear Members and Friends of SIDO,

PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDERS FOR THE 55° SIDO INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS 17-19 OCTOBER IN FLORENCE, ITALY!

After the impressive success of the Spring Meeting 2024 in Verona with over 1000 participants, we have tried our best to compose an even more appealing 55TH SIDO INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FROM 17-19 OCTOBER 2024 IN FLORENCE, one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

What to expect?

Our pre-congress events on Thursday, Oct. 17 will include the II Sandro Segù Memorial IBO of the Italian Board of Orthodontics on “Adult Malocclusion”, the Symposium ʺAngle-net comes ALIVE in SIDO” on “Elective Treatments and the Latest Technologies” & “A New Orthodontic Challenge: the Aging Patient”, and several courses held by the leading experts on biomechanics, injection molding and good practice of the temporomandibular patient.

The scientific program on Friday, Oct. 18, will offer two parallel sessions in the main lecture halls on “INTERDISCIPLINARY TREATMENT” with duets and trios of speakers and “THE CONTINUING QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE”. During the lunch break on Friday we invite the new generation to a “SIDO YOUNG UNPLUGGED” SESSION for their first informal “closed meeting” with lots of food for thought, but not only!

On Saturday, Oct. 19 our general motto in SIDO 2024 “BUILDING BRIDGES FOR THE FUTURE” will be applied to the scientific sessions on “NEW TECHNOLOGIES” and in the “1st FEMALE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT” paying tribute to the growing pink quota in the orthodontic world.

And…what about the fun side? Dress up on Friday night for the “SIDO TOUCH OF PINK RECEPTION” with the “Roland’s Stones”, food and drinks and of course: our epic SIDO PARTY!
