Radiographs taken at the time of implant placement, definitive restoration delivery, and 1-year follow-up found significantly less crestal bone loss around the test implants (0.25 mm) compared to the controls (0.65 mm). Notably, bone loss around the control inplants had declined by the 1-year follow-up point.
