Destruction of periodontal tissue resulting from periodontal and/or endodontic inflammation causes esthetic problems. Forced eruption is a valuable adjunct to augmenting the soft and hard tissue where the alveolar ridge is insufficient for esthetics. In this article, forced eruption was adopted for implant site development prior to implant placement and the periodontal tissue was augmented vertically using this technique. This technique simplified the surgical implant procedure without a need for advanced augmentation.
