Implants (≤ 10 mm) were placed with osteotome sinus floor elevation (OSFE) without grafting in maxillae with bone height ≤ 8 mm. After 10 years, the CBCT analysis showed bone presence at the buccal and palatal implant sides and corroborated the results obtained using periapical radiographs. In the absence of any symptom or complication, the use of two-dimensional radiography is sufficient for routine long-term follow-up of implants after OSFE without grafting.
