Graduated with honors in Dental Medicine from the Univ. of Bologna in 1996. In 2001 earned the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontology after a 3-year program at Boston Univ. Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In 2002 passed the exams of the American Board of Periodontology becoming a Diplomate. He is an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP), an active member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) and an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). He has published several articles in the fields of periodontology and implantology in international journals and lectures extensively both nationally and internationally. Author of the chapter titled “Soft Tissue Management Around Dental Implants” in Practical Periodontal Plastic Surgery edited by Blackwell Munksgaard. He currently practices as a Periodontist in Bologna.

Dr. Chia-Yu (Jennifer) Chen received her dental degree (DDS) from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan and completed her periodontology training and Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in oral biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

At HSDM, Dr. Chen was selected as a Presidential Scholar and, at graduation, was the recipient of both the James H. Shaw Award for excellence in biomedical research and the Joseph L. Henry Award, which recognizes excellence in research and clinical training from Harvard.

Dr. Chen is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She maintains a clinical practice limited to periodontology and implantology in the Faculty Group Practice at the Harvard Dental Center.

Dr. Luca Cordaro is chair of the Department of Periodontology and Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome. He graduated in Medicine at the University of Roma "La Sapienza" where he also got a degree in Dentistry. He holds a Ph.D. degree and is a certified specialist in oral surgery. He also works, together with his brother, in a private practice founded in 1957 by his father. Dr Cordaro is author or co- author of more than 70 papers published in italian or international journals and has lectured in Europe, Asia, North and South America. In 2007 he won the H. Goldman Prize for Clinical Research of the Italian Society of Periodontology. He is author of different book chapters and coauthor of the books "The SAC Classification in Implant Dentistry" and ITI Treatment Guide 7 published by Quintessence Publishing. He is active member of the Italian Society of Osseointegration and Fellow of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). In the ITI he serves as member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Study Club Committee and Chairrman for the Italian Section. He has been elected in the EAO Board in 2010 and serves as Chair of the Congress committee and Secretary General. David Craig—Consultant, Honorary Senior Lecturer, Head of Sedation & Special Care Dentistry at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, King's College London Dental Institute and Visiting Professor at the University of Portsmouth. David has over 30 years' experience teaching conscious sedation techniques to undergraduate students, dental and medical practitioners and has served on dental and multidisciplinary groups preparing guidelines for safe sedation practice.

Dr David Dunn has a reputation as one of Australia’s leading clinicians in Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry. Since graduating from Sydney University with Honours in 1981, he has built a respected referral practice on prestigious Macquarie Street, in the heart of Sydney. Dr Dunn was notably a founding member of The Osseointegration Society of New South Wales, being chairman of the inaugural committee, and later the Australasian Osseointegration Society.

Conor limits his clinical practice to the delivery of all aspects of Endodontics at his specialist, referral practice in Limerick, Ireland. His Masters research thesis focused on the diagnostic accuracy of CBCT in the detection of external root resorption. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and has co-authored six textbook chapters. He is co-author of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE) guidelines and position statement on the use of CBCT in Endodontics. Conor is a member of the ESE Clinical Practice Committee, and is involved in the delivery of post-graduate education in Endodontics in Ireland in his role as a committee member and incumbent President of the Irish Endodontic Society.

Dr. Ercoli is chairman of the Prosthodontics Postgraduate Training Program at EIOH. A native of Italy where he earned his dental degree, Dr. Ercoli continued his advanced training in ways to restore the comfort, appearance and function of the mouth when patients have missing or damaged teeth (prosthodontics). He is also trained in treatment of the jaw and facial muscles (the areas affected by TMD and TMJ), and of the gums and tissues that support the teeth. Dr. Ercoli is internationally published in prosthodontics and implant dentistry and has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. Dr. Carlo Ercoli is Professor of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Implant Surgery and Chairman of the Prosthodontic Department at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health where he also serves as the Director for the Center of Excellence for Digital Dentistry. He graduated from the “Enrico Berlinguer” Dental Technology Institute in Rome in 1987 and obtained his DDS from the University of Siena, Italy in 1993. He specialized in Prosthodontics in 1996 at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York and completed a specialty training in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders in 1997. David Gerdolle was born in Epinal (France) in May 1970, and is gratuated from the Dental University of Nancy (1993). He has then achieved a number of Postgraduate Diplomas from the Universities of Paris and Gothenburg, in Oral and Osteo-articular  Biology, Implantology, Prosthodontics and Adhesive Dentistry.

David has been member of the teaching staff of the University of Nancy between 1993 and 2005, and he is running a private practice in Vevey-Montreux since 2006. His practice is dedicated to conservative and minimal invasive dentistry. David is currently directing a Postgraduate Certificate at the University of Paris, and is also involved in research programs on resin composites in the University of Nancy.

Prof Shahram Ghanaati is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery with a triple doctorate in medicine, dentistry, and science (MD, DMD, PhD) from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and Frankfurt. Today he leads the Head and Neck Oncology section at the University Cancer Center at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and is an associate professor in the Clinic of Oral, Cranio-Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery there. In 2009, he founded the FORM-Lab (Frankfurt Orofacial Regenerative Medicine), a research laboratory that performs basic science and clinical studies focusing on understanding the biomaterial-based regeneration process. In his research, Prof Ghanaati has participated in the development of over 10 biomaterials from the bench to the clinic. He has worked with Dr Joseph Choukroun, the inventor of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), to develop advanced preparation protocols, and in 2016 he and his team established the so-called LSCC (low-speed centrifugation concept) for PRF-derived blood concentrates. Furthermore, he has presented more than 150 lectures at national and international congresses and has given more than 200 courses and workshops on GTR and GBR in implantology as well as on regenerative concepts and blood concentrates. Prof Ghanaati has published more than 170 peer-reviewed publications in the field of regenerative and reconstructive medicine and is a Fellow of the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Sotiria Gizani received her degree in Dentistry from AUTH and then completed her postgraduate studies in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Care for Special Needs at the Catholic University Leuven (KU Leuven, Belgium), including a "Master in Dental Sciences" and her PhD. After completing her studies (1998), she returned to Greece and has since been working at the Pediatric Dentistry Laboratory of the Dental School at EKPA, initially as a Lecturer and later as an Assistant Professor. Today, she is an Associate Professor and Director of the Laboratory, as well as responsible for the postgraduate program, which is one of the seven certified pediatric dentistry programs in Europe. In 2018, she was elected Secretary of the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD) with a six-year term. She is also a visiting professor at the Catholic University Leuven (Belgium) and an external examiner for the postgraduate pediatric dentistry program at the University of Liverpool (England). She has given numerous presentations nationally and internationally and has published over 60 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Additionally, she has received international awards and honors from the IAPD, EAPD, as well as the Koulouridis Scholarship twice. Her research interests mainly focus on clinical studies related to the prevention and management of caries in children, dental treatment of individuals with special needs, and communication and behavior management of dental patients.

Dr. Gonzalez-Martin received the DDS degree from University of Seville in 1999 and was appointed as an assistant professor at the same university from 1999 to 2005, while also working in a private practice. In 2005, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) to obtain an MS degree in Graduate Periodontics and Periodontal-Prosthesis in 2009 from University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He received the Arnold Weisgold’s Director’s Award. He joined the UPenn faculty as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in 2009 and he currently keeps the position. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics in 2009. In 2010, he received a scholarship to join to the Fixed Prosthodontic and Occlusion Department at the University of Geneva School of Dental Medicine. In 2015, he obtained an International PhD at the University of Seville. Currently, he serves as Editor-in-Chief for The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry. At present, he teaches in the graduate program of Periodontology at University Complutense of Madrid, Part-time in Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences Harvard School of Dental Medicine while continuing work at a private practice, Atelier Dental Madrid, exclusive to periodontics, prosthesis, and implants.

Dr. Marco Goppert hospitierte seit seinem Studienbeginn 1996 an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg regelmäßig in renommierten Dentallabors und Zahnarztpraxen.

Nach seinem Abschluss mit Prädikatsexamen und Vollendung der Doktorarbeit arbeitete er in verschiedenen international hoch angesehenen Praxen in Süddeutschland. Dr. Klaus Gotfredsen is Professor and Chairman at the Department of Oral Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated in 1984 from the School of Dentistry, University of Aarhus, Denmark. He has also graduated in Medical Sociology and Medical Psychology from Aarhus University, Denmark. He started as PhD student in Copenhagen in 1986 and received a Danish PhD degree in 1990. In 2001 he received a Swedish PhD degree from the Department of Periodontology of the Sahlgrenska Academy at Göteborg University, Sweden. Dr. Gotfredsen has published more than 120 scientific papers in the fields of Implant and Prosthetic Dentistry. He serves as reviewer for a number of clinical and scientific journals and has lectured extensively internationally in the field of Implant Dentistry. He is President of the education committee under the Scandinavian Society of Prosthetic Dentistry. He is the former President of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) and a board member of a number of dental societies. He chaired the 1999 European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. His major subject areas for research are implant dentistry and prosthetic dentistry including 3D- dentistry, biomaterials and oral health related quality of life.

Marco Gresnigt graduated cum laude in 2005 from the University of Groningen. In 2012, he received his PhD with the topic laminate veneers. He works at the center for special dental care at the Martini Hospital Groningen where he performs restorative and esthetic treatments using a surgical microscope. At the University of Groningen, he is an associate professor in restorative dentistry, conducts practice based research in the field of restorative/adhesive dentistry and teaches aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry at clinic. He has 5 PhD students and publishes in international journals (>60 peer reviewed; h-factor 27) especially in the field of adhesive restorative dentistry. He gives keynote lectures and masterclasses (inter)nationally in the field of esthetic and adhesive dentistry (www.summitdentistry.nl). He has won several awards such as the GC world clinical case award, Smile award, EAED innovation award and several scientific awards. He was the president of the international Bio-Emulation group and has a group and online-platform for innovative restorative research www.summit-research.org.

Christoph H. F. Hämmerle, Prof Dr med dent, is the department chairman of the Clinic of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics in Dental Materials Science and the Division of Implant Dentistry at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He currently serves or has served as a board member of several scientific organizations, notably the European Association for Osseointegration, Osteology Foundation, Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry, Continental European Division of the International Association for Dental Research, International Team for Implantology Switzerland, and Dental Campus Association. Dr Hämmerle has published more than 300 scientific articles and has lectured internationally.

Dr. Arndt Happe graduated from dental school in 1994, having studied at Westfälische Wilhelms University, Münster. Following post-graduate studies with Professor Fouad Khoury and successful specialization in oral surgery, he obtained his doctoral degree in 1996. At that time he had already been active as a speaker and co-author of national and international publications in the field of oral implantology. Since 1999, Dr. Happe has worked as an oral surgeon in private practice in Münster, with a professional focus on both oral implantology (since 2000) and periodontology (since 2004). He taught in various postgraduate programs offered by the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI), the European Association of Dental Implantologists (BDIZ EDI), the German Association of Esthetic Dentistry (DGÄZ) and the German Society for Periodontology (DGP), as well as in the “Periodontology and Implant Therapy” master program of the DGP in cooperation with Dresden International University. In addition, Dr. Happe is an external research assistant at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Cologne (Director: Professor Joachim E.
