However, the protocol of mega-abrasion followed by microabrasion may be used as an alternative. It is less invasive and can minimize the unesthetic brown-to-whitish spots caused by EF. This article describes an easy and low-cost technique for managing enamel defects in a patient with severe enamel fluorosis.
