Tissue condition, patient satisfaction, prosthesis failures by location and by sex of patient were assessed. Debondings occurred in both the mandibular and maxillary arches. In the present study, there were no gender-based differences in the rate of debonding and prostheses with more than two retainers were more likely to have problems.
