This dynamic animated video presents the development of malocclusion, providing
valuable information to those involved in clinical orthodontics. A basis is
offered for efficient treatment protocols by describing the characteristics of
various types of malocclusions, considering the etiology of these conditions as
well as the associated deviations that develop. Emphasis is placed on abnormal
development that can be interrupted by interceptive procedures, often leading
to spontaneous corrections and favorable conditions for initiating orthodontic
treatment. Detailed clinical examples of newly developed clinical procedures are
provided as well.
