Mit einem vielfältigen Bildungshintergrund, aufgewachsen in Südamerika und Europa, bevor sie in jungen Jahren nach Budapest, Ungarn, zog, legte sie den Grundstein für eine herausragende Karriere in der Zahnmedizin. Sie absolvierte ihre Hochschulreife in Budapest und erwarb anschließend ihren Doktortitel an der Semmelweis Universität. Ihre berufliche Laufbahn begann im Krankenhaus „La Salpetriere“ in Paris, Frankreich, in der Abteilung für Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie, gleichzeitig initiierte sie ein postgraduales Programm in Parodontologie. Dies mündete schnell in der Gründung ihrer eigenen Praxis.

Im Jahr 1996 festigte sie ihre Expertise durch den Erwerb eines Grades in Parodontologie und Implantologie von der Universität Paris VII, Paris, Frankreich, was den Beginn ihrer ausschließlichen Praxis in diesen Bereichen markierte. Ihr Engagement für die Weiterentwicklung der zahnmedizinischen Wissenschaft erstreckte sich über ihre Praxis hinaus, da sie sich in klinischer Forschung, Lehre und internationalen Vorträgen engagierte.

Zu ihren akademischen Errungenschaften gehört der Erwerb eines PhDs von der Universität Szeged, Ungarn, im Jahr 2011, wo sie 2012 auch die Ehrenprofessur erhielt. Ihre Vision, Bildung und Forschung in der Zahnmedizin zu fördern, wurde 2018 mit der Mitbegründung eines Zentrums für Weiterbildung und klinische Forschung in Paris, Frankreich, verwirklicht. Die Anerkennung ihrer Beiträge zum Fachgebiet setzte sich mit ihrer Wahl in den Osteologie-Expertenausschuss im Jahr 2019 fort und unterstreicht ihre Position als führende Figur in der Parodontologie und Implantologie.

Dr. Ramon Gómez Meda received his degree in Dentistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He was the recipient of the Thesis Award from the Autonomous Community of Galicia for Academic Excellence. He performed his postgraduate training in Periodontics and Implantology in Madrid, Occlusion and Temporomandibular Dysfunction in Valencia and Orthodontics in Santiago de Compostela. Dr. Gómez Meda is an international speaker on Periodontics, Esthetic Dentistry and Multidisciplinary Treatments. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Department of Prosthodontics at LSUHSC School of Dentistry (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA). He is the Founder of MEDA Training Center, in Ponferrada with an additional branch location in La Coruña, Spain.

Dr. Joseph Kan schloss seine Fachausbildung in Prothetik sowie den Master-Abschluss in Implantatchirurgie an der Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLUSD) im Jahr 1997 ab. Derzeit ist er Professor am Department für restaurative Zahnmedizin und Koordinator für Forschung im Implantatchirurgie-Programm an der LLUSD. Darüber hinaus betreibt er eine Privatpraxis, die sich ausschließlich auf Prothetik und Implantatchirurgie konzentriert. Im Jahr 1997 erhielt Dr. Kan den Best Research Award bei der 12. Jahresversammlung der Academy of Osseointegration. Er erhielt auch den Judson C. Hinckey Scientific Award von der Zeitschrift für Prothetische Zahnmedizin im Jahr 2003 und den Robert James Achievement Award im Jahr 2005. Dr. Kan ist Mitglied des Redaktionsausschusses für Parodontologie/Implantologie des Practical Periodontics & Aesthetic Dentistry. Er ist Mitglied der American Dental Association, der Academy of Osseointegration, des American College of Prosthodontists, der American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics und assoziiertes Mitglied der Pacific Coast Society of Prosthodontists. Dr. Kan ist einer der wenigen Kliniker weltweit, die sowohl in der chirurgischen als auch in der restaurativen Disziplin der Implantatchirurgie ausgebildet wurden. Neben Vorträgen auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene hat er über 40 Artikel in Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht sowie Kapitel in Fachbüchern verfasst.

Dr. Kern graduated from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil. He obtained a Postgraduate degree in Periodontology in 2003 and a Master’s Degree in Oral Rehabilitation from the Univesidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa in 2007. Firmly entrenched within the high aesthetic requirements of Brazilian dentistry, Dr. Ricardo Kern focuses his work on the demanding disciplines of soft tissue design and reconstruction. He has vast experience in immediate implant placement with temporization, from single tooth cases to full arch rehabilitations. He has presented both didactic programs and hands-on workshops on soft tissue design, preservation and reconstruction at numerous seminars and congresses.

Dr. George Kotsakis received his DDS from the University of Athens and after graduation he practiced in Athens, Greece for several years prior to coming to the US. He then completed his residency in Periodontics and MS in Science at the University of Minnesota when he first got involved in Peri-implantitis research. Following his training, he became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. In 2018, he moved to UT Health at San Antonio where he is currently an Associate Professor of Periodontics, UTHSCA, San Antonio, TX and Director of the ITI Scholarship Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and he holds the Roland Meffert Endowed Professorship in Implant Dentistry. He is a clinical researcher focusing on bone regeneration procedures in Implant surgery and Peri-implantitis Therapy. At UT Health San Antonio, he directs the NIH-funded Translational Periodontal Research Lab conducting research on the biological mechanisms underlying peri-implant bone loss and developing novel treatments for dental and biomedical implants. Dr. Kotsakis has published over 80 peer-reviewed scientific articles and textbook chapters with more than 13,000 citations of his work. He is one of the few Dental researchers to have been published in prestigious medical publications, such as the Lancet and PNAS. He has been the recipient of multiple career and research awards from the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Periodontology Foundation and other organizations. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor and as an Editorial review board member for multiple prestigious Dental journals. Dr. Kotsakis practices Periodontics in the UTHealth San Antonio intramural clinics with a focus on treating implant complications and peri-implantitis. He lectures frequently both nationally and internationally on implant surgical techniques, alveolar bone regeneration and peri-implantitis therapy.

Dr. medic. Henriette Lerner PhD ist Gründerin und Direktorin der HL-Dentclinic and Academy in Baden-Baden, Deutschland, einer akademischen klinischen, Lehr- und Forschungseinrichtung der Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland. Dr. Lerner ist ehemalige Präsidentin der Digital Dentistry Society International (DDS). Sie hat eine Zusatzpromotion zum Thema Digital Dentistry.

Richard J. Miron, DDS, MSc, PhD ist derzeit der leitende Dozent und Forschungsleiter bei Advanced PRF Education und Gastdozent in der Abteilung für Parodontologie an der Universität Bern, Schweiz, wo er sein Promotionsstudium absolvierte. Er hat über 250 von Fachleuten begutachtete Artikel veröffentlicht und hält international Vorträge zu vielen Themen im Zusammenhang mit Wachstumsfaktoren, Knochenbiomaterialien und gesteuerter Knochenregeneration. Dr. Miron gilt weithin als einer der führenden Forscher in der Zahnmedizin und wurde laut einer unabhängigen Untersuchung von Expertscape als der bestbewertete Forscher für die PRF-Therapie im Jahr 2020 anerkannt. Außerdem wurde er kürzlich mit dem André-Schroeder-Preis des ITI, dem IADR Young Investigator of the Year im Bereich der Implantologie und dem IADR Socransky Research Award im Bereich der Parodontologie ausgezeichnet. Dr. Miron hat fünf Lehrbücher über regenerative Zahnheilkunde geschrieben, und er hat gerade erst angefangen.

Michael A. Pikos, DDS, is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and a clinical associate professor at the Department of Periodontology and the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is the author of Bone Augmentation in Implant Dentistry (Quintessence, 2019), serves on the editorial boards of several journals, and has lectured extensively on dental implants in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Dr Pikos is the founder and CEO of the Pikos Institute and maintains a private practice limited to implant surgery in Trinity, Florida.

Seit 01.08.2015: Geschäftsführender Direktor der ZMK Bern. Ordentlicher Professor und Direktor der Klinik für Parodontologie, Universität Bern; Autor von mehr als 310 Publikationen in peer reviewed Journals/Mitglied im Editor oder Mitglied im Editorial Board von 14 wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften. Forschungspreise: u.a. Anthony Rizzo-Preis der IADR und IADR/Straumann-Award in Regenerative Periodontal Medicine.

Dr. Urban erhielt seinen DMD-Abschluss und anschließend seinen MD-Abschluss an der Semmelweis University School of Medicine and Dentistry (Budapest, Ungarn) in den Jahren 1991 und 1996. Er absolvierte ein Vollzeitstudium der Oralchirurgie am St. Istvan Hospital in Budapest, Ungarn (1992-1996). Sein Praktikum in Parodontologie absolvierte er an der UCLA. Nach Abschluss des Fellowship-Programms (1999-2000) in Implantologie an der Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, Kalifornien, wurde er im folgenden Jahr zum Assistenzprofessor ernannt. Dr. Urban unterrichtet Implantologie im Rahmen des Graduiertenprogramms der Loma Linda University. Er ist im Staat Kalifornien (USA) zugelassen und hat eine Privatpraxis in Budapest, Ungarn. Dr. Urban promovierte 2012 in Parodontologie an der Universität von Szeged, Ungarn. Derzeit ist er Honorarprofessor an der Universität von Szeged. Dr. Urban ist Vorstandsmitglied der Osteology Foundation und hat wissenschaftliche Artikel und Fachbücher über Knochenregeneration und rekonstruktive Weichgewebschirurgie bei Zahnimplantaten veröffentlicht.
