David M. Sarver, DMD, MS, is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, and a fellow in the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is author of Dentofacial Esthetics: From Macro to Micro with Quintessence (2020) and coauthor (with Drs Proffit and White) of the surgical text Contemporary Treatment of Dentofacial Deformity (Elsevier Science, 2002) as well as the 4th, 5th, and 6th editions of Proffit’s classic textbook Contemporary Orthodontics (Mosby, 2018). Dr Sarver has given more than 400 professional presentations in the United States, Europe, Australia, and the Middle and Far East and has been featured on several national television programs, including The Today Show.
Takeshi Sasaki, DDS, is chief director of the Kiwakai Dental Clinic, lecturer at the Japan Institute for Advance Dental Studies, and visiting academic staff at Tokyo Medical and Dental University School of Dental Medicine and Nagasaki University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Periodontology, among other organizations.
Dr. Gerhard Sattler is considered one of the pioneers of esthetic medicine worldwide. Until his death, he was President of the German Society for Aesthetic Surgery (GÄCD) and Executive Director of the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery as well as a member of other specialist societies and Director of the Rosenpark Clinic in Darmstadt.
Dr Yoh Sawatari is a Professor of Clinical Surgery and the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Program. He has over 16 years of facial trauma experience at a level one trauma center at one of the largest community hospitals in the country. He has trained countless surgeons through the residency program, his national and international lectures, and his numerous peer-reviewed publications and chapters. He is considered an expert in the field of facial trauma and has provided lectures for the United States Army, has assisted in the design of fixation plates for facial trauma, and has incorporated advanced technology into the Miami program including navigation, intraoperative imaging, and patient-specific implants.
E. Todd Scheyer, DDS, MS, is a clinical assistant instructor at the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston and guest lecturer for the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a past president of the Southwest Society of Periodontists and of the Texas Society of Periodontists. Dr Scheyer maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implant reconstructive dentistry in Houston, Texas.
Dr. med. dent. Fabian Schick is a specialist in biological dentistry and ceramic implants. Born and raised in Ehingen (Donau), he completed his dental studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. After his doctorate and various continuing education courses, he now works in a practice clinic for integrative, biological, holistic dentistry in Munich.
Dr. Schick is a certified implantologist and a member of the International Society of Metal-Free Implantology and the International Academy of Ceramic Implantology. His publications deal with the connection between dentistry and chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases.
