Verbesserung der Verhältnisse trotz schlechter Patientencompliance
Der vorliegende Bericht dokumentiert die Behandlung einer generalisierten, schweren chronischen Parodontits bei einer 64-jährigen Patientin. Die Patientin verweigerte Behandlungen, die über die subgingivale Instrumentierung hinausgingen. Anfänglich lehnte sie auch eine mikrobiologische Diagnostik und adjuvante Antibiotikagabe ab. Nach einem subgingivalen Scaling und der Wurzelglättung aller Zähne im Rahmen der "Full-Mouth-Disinfection" musste aufgrund persistierender Suppurationen nachbehandelt werden. Daher wurde nach vorausgegangener Keimbestimmung unter antibiotischer Abdeckung erneut ein subgingivales Scaling sowie eine Wurzelglättung vorgenommen. Nach drei Jahren erfolgte die Nachuntersuchung.
