Dr Lesley A. David is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practising in Toronto in Canada. She is on the staff at Trillium Health Partners Hospital and the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr David is a clinical instructor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto and has been involved in teaching and research in the Implant Prosthodontic Unit at the university. She is a fellow and past examiner of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Additionally, she is on the advisory board for DC Institute, a continuing education provider, and is a remedial course provider in implants and oral and maxillofacial surgery for the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario. Dr David lectures nationally and internationally on various topics in implant dentistry and oral surgery. She has also published various articles and chapters, predominantly on implant dentistry.

Catherine Davies, MBBCh, MBA, is a medical doctor practicing in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a special interest in esthetics, regenerative medicine, and hair restoration. She has over 14 years of experience in FUE hair transplant surgery. She is board certified in stem cell medicine from the A4M Academy in the United States. Dr Davies frequently lectures and trains on medical procedures and is passionate about medical education. She recently featured in and produced an international medical TV show called Outpatients, which is on its third successful season and airs in 180 countries. Her passion is to drive social change through the use of media. She is the proud mother of three children.

Glécio Vaz de Campos, DDS, received his DDS degree from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) in Araraquara, Brazil, in 1982. After he specialized in periodontics and prosthetics, several years of clinical practice led him to explore new techniques focusing on periodontal plastic surgery. In 1996, he was qualified on this subject at the Microsurgery Training Institute in Santa Barbara, California. He had a significant role in introducing periodontal and peri-implant plastic microsurgery techniques to Brazil and expanding the use of the operative microscope there. From 2000 to 2004, Dr Campos served as Director of the Operative Microscopy Department at the São Paulo Dental Association (APCD), where he organized the largest training facility on operative microscopy in South America. Dr Campos has coauthored 16 books related to periodontal and peri-implant plastic microsurgery, as well as scientific articles published in Brazil and abroad. Currently he maintains private practices in Jundiaí and São Paulo, Brazil, where he focuses on periodontal and peri-implant plastic microsurgery and offers regular training courses in his private microscopy laboratory in Jundiaí.

Luca De Stavola bekleidet die Position des Gastprofessors für Parodontologie und Dozenten für den Masterstudiengang Osseointegrierte Implantologie an der Universität Padua (Italien). Nach seinem Abschluss im Jahr 2001 an der zahnmedizinischen Fakultät der Universität Padua (Italien) erlangte Luca De Stavola seine Spezialisierung in Oralchirurgie im Jahr 2007 an der „Privatzahnklinik Schloss Schellenstein“ (Westfalen-Lippe, Deutschland) unter der Leitung von Prof. F. Khoury; im selben Jahr schloss er den Masterstudiengang in Oralmedizin mit Schwerpunkt Implantologie an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität in Münster (Deutschland) ab. Als international anerkannter Redner für seinen interdisziplinären Ansatz zwischen Parodontologie und restaurativer Chirurgie ist Luca De Stavola Autor mehrerer, durch Peer-Review geprüfter Forschungsarbeiten und aktives Mitglied der SIO (Italienische Vereinigung für Osseointegrierte Implantologie) und der EAO (Europäische Akademie für Osseointegration) und gilt weithin als einer der aufstrebendsten italienischen Referenten im Bereich der Knochenrekonstruktion und des Weichgewebemanagements. Marco Degidi, DDS, is an adjunct professor for the postgraduate master’s in clinical implantology at the University of Bologna. He is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and a diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantology. Dr Degidi is the inventor of the WeldOne Concept as well as the Conometric Concept. He has published 153 articles on peer-reviewed journals and received numerous awards. Dr Degidi lectures internationally in the fields of immediate loading, primary stability, biomaterials, and esthetic dentistry and maintains a private practice limited to implant surgery and prosthetics in Bologna, Italy.

Dr. Massimo Del Fabbro ist Leiter der Abteilung für orale Pathophysiologie der Zahnmedizinischen Klinik am Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, Abteilung für Gesundheitstechnologien der Universität Mailand. Er ist Autor mehrerer Artikel auf den Gebieten Parodontologie, zahnärztliche Implantologie, Endodontologie, Physiologie und Biochemie. Außerdem ist er Mitherausgeber von Sinusbodenaugmentation. Chirurgische Techniken und alternative Konzepte (Quintessenz, 2010). Dr. Del Fabbro forscht auf den Gebieten Zahnheilkunde, orale Chirurgie und orale Medizin  an der medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Mailand.

Nicholas M. Dello Russo, DMD, MScD, is an instructor in periodontics at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and an attending periodontist in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the International College of Dentists.

Professor Korkud Demirel, DDS, graduated from Tarsus American School in 1980, and from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1985. He worked as a visiting lecturer at New York University, Stony Brook School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology in 1989 and 1990. He attained his PhD in 1992 and became Professor in 2002. He was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the Ukrainian Academy of Postgraduate Education in 2018. His professional areas of interest include esthetic periodontal treatment, dental implants, bone regeneration, and smoking and gingival diseases. He was Past President of the Turkish Society of Periodontology, and was Past President of the European Federation of Periodontology.
