Molar intrusion is a commonly used treatment for overerupted molars and anterior open bite. Temporary anchorage devices (TADs) such as mini-implants, combined with various types of appliances, offer effective solutions for molar intrusion. Placement of mini-implants in the anterior palate provides excellent stability with a low failure rate. The double TAD intrusion technique (DTI), utilising both palatal mini-implants and buccal miniplates, offers a reliable means of controlling and achieving predictable outcomes in molar intrusion. The presented case reports demonstrate the application of the DTI technique along with CAD/CAM appliances, showcasing advancements in clinical practice. However, further research is necessary to validate the long-term effectiveness and stability of the DTI technique across diverse patient populations.
